John is a former member of Council of the I.C.A.E.W. and former President of the Association of Accounting Technicians. He is currently serving on the United Nations Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants President's Appointment Panel for Arbitrators and Expert Determinations. |

Charles Little

FCA - Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales
Experience & specialisms:
Trained with Coopers & Lybrand. Joined the firm in 1977 to open the Bedford Office for which he is now responsible. Charles is a specialist advisor to the Bloodstock and Horse Racing industries.
The office has a significant number of UK industrial clients who represent overseas companies from Finland, Holland, German, Spain and South Africa.

More than 20 years experience covering all aspects of taxation for businesses and individuals.
Specialising in tax planning to minimise Corporation tax, Income tax, Capital gains tax and Inheritance tax.
Other experience covers all aspects of tax compliance including HM Revenue & Customs enquiries.

Jeremy Tyrrell

ACA – Associate of the Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
BA (Hons) – Accounting and Economics (Reading)
Experience and specialisms:
Jeremy qualified in 1996 and joined the firm in 2007 having previously led the Corporate Finance department at the Windsor office of Tenon plc, a top ten accountancy practice. His role involves leading the transaction based work of the firm including business acquisitions, disposals, sourcing finance, business planning, company valuations and other strategic assignments.
Outside work:
Jeremy is the Chairman of the Playing committee for the East Midlands RFU and heavily involved in Bedford Athletic RUFC. He is also a parish councillor (Eastcotts Parish Council) and a member of the PCC at St. Mary’s Church, Cardington. |

Neil Warren
Position: VAT Consultant

ATT - Member of the Association of Taxation Technicians
FMAAT – Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians
Experience & specialisms:
Specialisms include land and property issues, partial exemption and international services.
Neil is a regular contributor to 'Taxation' and 'CCH VAT News' on topical VAT issues. He is a VAT lecturer and author of the Tolley’s VAT Planning book that is published each year. He was a finalist (with three others) in the LexisNexis Tax Writer of the Year competition in 2007.
He is also a member of the Technical Committee of the Association of Taxation Technicians, specialising in matters involving VAT.
Neil worked for HM Customs and Excise for 14 years until 1997. |
